Cootes to Escarpment Ecopark System – Partner Memorandum of Understanding Extension

Committee approved, in principle, the contents of the Cootes to Escarpment Ecopark System Memorandum of Understanding Extension (MOUE). The Cootes to Escarpment Ecopark System is a network of 3,650 hectares of significant lands naturally connecting Hamilton and Burlington at the western end of Lake Ontario. The original MOU expires in June 2016. In order to facilitate further progress, and realize the potential for engagement with the Province of Ontario and other agencies, a continuation of the current working arrangements is proposed for a further five years.
