Mayor’s Millennial Advisory Committee – March meeting

The next meeting of the Mayor’s Millennial Advisory Committee is set for Thursday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Rooms 305 and 307 at Burlington City Hall, 426 Brant Street.

The guest speaker is the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Eleanor McMahon. She also serves as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Burlington.

Mayor Rick Goldring’s Millennial Advisory Committee met for their first meeting of the New Year at the Aldershot Arena Community room on Thursday, Jan. 12. The committee welcomed Councillor Rick Craven, as well as Jenna Puletto and Sam Romlewski of the City of Burlington’s planning department. The theme of the January 2017 meeting was Mobility Hubs and Redevelopment, with Aldershot’s Plains Road as a case study. Continue reading

The next meeting of the Mayor’s Millennial Advisory Committee is set for Thursday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Tansley Woods Community Centre, Community Room 3, 1996 Itabashi Way.

The guest speaker is Halton Regional Police Service Burlington (3 District) Superintendent Al Albano.

The Mayor’s Millennial Advisory Committee was created to develop initiatives and provide input on how to keep and attract residents aged 18 to 35 in Burlington. It will also concentrate on creating opportunities to engage millennials with their community.
